The identity of a human population, group, community in a society is marked by its language and culture. The tribal communities of India have been identified by its dialect and culture. Now efforts to convert those dialects into scripts have become much faster. In this sequence, Kurukh, the dialect of the Oraon tribe, has now attained perfection. With the script of Tolong Siki (Developed by Dr Narayan Oraon & Team), the Kurukh language is becoming very popular among the tribal. When the use of language is increasing, then it is natural to be proud of our legendary culture and customs. Keeping this aspect in mind, we are starting this web magazine 'Kurukh Times'. It will be our endeavor that through the Kurukh Times, we strengthen the spirit of the Kurukh speaking people, and contribute to the refinement. Your full participation will be expected for this.
सम्य समाज में किसी मानव आबादी, समूह, समुदाय की अस्मिता उसकी भाषा-संस्कृति से चिन्हित होती है। भारत के आदिवासी समुदायों की पहचान उसकी बोली और संस्कृति से रही है। अब उन बोलियों को लिपि में परिवर्त्तन करने के प्रयास काफी तेज हुए हैं। इसी क्रम में उरावं आदिवासियों की बोली कुंड़ुख अब पूर्णता प्राप्त कर चुकी है। तोलोंग सिंकि लिपि के साथ कुंड़ुख भाषा आदिवासियों में काफी लोकप्रिय हो रही है। जब भाषा का प्रयोग बढ़ रहा हो तो जाहिर है अपनी आदि संस्कृति और रिवाजों के प्रति गर्व होना स्वाभाविक है। इसी पहलू को ध्यान में रखकर हम शुरू कर रहे हैं यह वेब पत्रिका 'कुंड़ुख टाइम्स'। हमारा प्रयास होगा कि Kurukh Times के जरिये हम कुंड़ुखभाषियों की भावना, आपसी तालमेल को मजबूत करें, परिष्कृत करने में योगदान दें। इसके लिए आपकी पूर्ण सहभागिता की अपेक्षा रहेगी।
