Kurukh Literary Society of India, kolkata chapter organized and coducted Kurukh Training Program w.e.f. 16.07.2025 to 30.07.2025 for the promotion preservation of Kurukh language at Mal Bazar, Jalpaiguri, WB. Program was inaurated by honourable mininster in charge, tribal development department, govt. of WB Shri Bulu Chik Baraik. Initially 90 people registered for training but only 73 people appeared for the Test and certificate was given to these people only.
Trainees were really enthusiastic and energetic in coparision to the trsinees at Birpara, Alipurduar, WB where many trainees left the training because it was kurukh training and they expected of 'Sadri' training.
Training program ended on 30.07.2025 successfully and officers of the Cultural Research Instiute were present. Certificates were given to those who appear in the Test.
